It wont clear the underbody of the car. At least I dont think it will.

Just place it where the cat is. And yes it will decrease the sound significantly. How quiet I am not sure because it also depends on how well the Megan muffler will work in conjunction with the center piece.

Oh ok, so the testpipe is also 20" long? didn't realize it was 20" from where i was looking, but i didn't have the best view. Sweet, so i will be ordering this 5" muffler and getting a local shop to weld it in.

Can the o2 bung be welded into the muffler or would it just be moved?

The actual muffler case size is 14" long 5" diameter. Both ends have about 3" of tubing sticking out. So total length end to end is 20 inches.

You could probably get a bung welded in but I would suggest its better to have a bung on the downpipe if its for a wideband. This way if you ever have a leak on the exhaust flange, it will be after the o2 sensor.

Wow soo many people wanting to be quiet now. lol

I just ordered the 5", 12867 magnaflow muffler, and it should arrive in a few days. I hope to install it shortly after it arrives and will try to post up pics and results on how it helps.
