I think the bbk full has more than proven itself if your after stock spool and a solid bump up in power

I vote BBK. HTA Green is prolly very very very similar real world, but there are way less numbers to back it up. I have about 18k miles on my BBK now and wouldn't trade it for anything.

While this is some of the better data i have seen the customer changed the head and valve size between turbos so the comparison is moot.

while i completely understand ypour point but sometimes you have to take things for what they are worth. its not everyday people pull off a hta green and put on a bbk on the same dyno, same day, etc...

just because someone changes something doesnt mean the info is useless, everything has its place and when trying to compare to items the more info the better.

something as drastic as oversized valves and ported head does make the comparison moot. Changing an intake, or exhaust maybe-sure i see your point.

have to agree a ported head with upgraded valvetrain makes a huge difference lol. i was just going to do a built head with stock shorty on a red and try to hit 500 on pump as i knew i did not have a change with all stock stuff and red without meth

I understand where u are coming from as well but show me another comparison between the two turbos period, not out there. I thought Mellon gave a very unbiased review of both turbos, at least they were on the same car, same tuner/tune.

We could go back and forth all day on the topic so I'll leave it alone. I guess I'm just more inclined to account for the variables and draw my own conclusions, like knowing about how much power a built head is worth at the given boost level and set up. (as Mellon did and shared with us) Definately not scientific or exact but it will get you close. Its a lot better then someone saying "bbk is better it rocks". Lol
