BR cast Manifold HTA35r kit or ETS Super value manifold with 35r

I can't decide between these two setups. They cost about the same. BR is with HTA 35r. ETS one is non HTA version. I will be running stock block, head,tb IM. No meth or e-85. Will be running 92 octane.

i had the same cast kit on my car, i sold it in less than a year and went tubular. just spend the extra and go straight to a tubular mani setup

I would say ETS but I biased towards them. But it's your car.

Probably not a huge difference between the cast and the supervalue mani's, as the super value mani is so short and stubby. I'd get the ETS kit with an HTA35R. OR the Buschur kit with a tubular mani

The BR cast kit is setup for a DSM flanged turbo right? If your not wanting a FPred/black I would only do a t3 based setup.

How much power are you looking to make? I'd prob skip the kit and go with an FP black. Better spool and about the same power gains.

imo the only time i would go with a tubular manni is if its an equal length setup (with good welds, thick walls, 1.25''....etc), but other than that i like the cast for the following reasons:

1) durable
2) sustains heat alot more than tubing, thus, high pressure through out the runners.
3) shorter runners

gl!

Aiming about 450whp. Fp black,O2 housing,8 install kit will end up around same as ETS supervalue kit with their journal bearing turbo. So i thought why not just go with 35r. Suggestions are all welcome. Car will be DD with some quarter mile runs at our local track.

We can do the journal bearing 5857 or 6262 and net you some pretty good gains, depending on your goals. I believe we spoke a couple times in emails. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Michael

We have not spoken but I have just pm'd you. My aim is to get near 500 whp on stock head and block. I can't afford hta version 35r or the tubular manifold. I wish I could. Right now my aim is to get the best I can in my budget which is around 3000(I can stretch it a bit for ETS 35r supervalue kit if it is worth for my goals) for the turbo kit. Would't 6262 be very laggy on stock head and block?

if you are going t3, avoid journal bearing like the plague. ball bearing all the way.
