Shep Tranny advice

Ok i just got my shep tranny installed about two weeks ago. I just hit 600 miles onit so Iv just recently started to get on it. The only thing is that when I shift it kind of makes a bang or a pop noise. The first time I heard it I thought I blew a intercooler pipe off. Anyone with a shep tranny please let me know if this is normal. THanks

This should not be normal. I would not drive it until you can talk with shep.

Does the car pop out of gear? Does it continue to drive fine, just that pop sound?

If so, then these guys are right; it's probably just your moustache bar hitting the bottom of the car. Normal.

Don't shift so damn hard either. It's not a muscle car!! Learn to shift her without making that bang, and your new shep trans will last that much longer.
