ok well i have been trying to research this but not much has been said about this combo. now i know that the perrin intake is highly recommended but i wonder how well does the samco hose and amsoil air filter hold up. i am wanting to order a new intake system. i like the perrin but i do not want to go with an oiled filter. filtration from the amsoil filter is top notch and i think i can stand losing a couple of hp for good filtration. i also noticed that the samco inlet hose looks a little skinner in some areas than the perrin inlet hose, am i correct?? does this hurt the performance, throttle response or are there no issues?

any info is appreciated

another combo i am considering perrin inlet hose with an amsoil filter.

if i had to do my intake all over i would do a buschur tube with an AMSOIL cone, or INJEN tube with the AMSOIL cone,,,, id say it would be a killer set up that would give 12WHP+ with the tune,, and needless to say the spool up gains with the AMSOIL cone.

hey Andy whats up! you know i'm going with the amsoil filter lol there is no question there. top notch filtration and great spool. cant beat that. i just want a good intake tube to replace the stock one.
