Did the Walbro pressure relief mod today

Pretty simple, took me all of about 20 minutes. Took the Fuel sender out, dislodged the walbro and followed THESE DIRECTIONS

I also installed a new Amsoil air filter in favor of my AFE Power filter, and took it out for a few test rips. Good to go, car pulls great! AFRs are steady 11.6 tapering to 11.3 at redline on 28psi!

Just a FYI, most Walbros installed at reputable shops already have this mod done, I didn't install mine, and wanted to see if it was done or not, it wasn't so I did it...

To keep the flow from decreasing as the pressure increases, once the relieve valve opens flow drops dramatically on the intank walbros... granted that isn't until around 75-80 psi (30 psi + 45 psi base fuel pressure)

Your fuel needs must be insane if you have to do this to a double pumper...

This is why buschur asks you if you are running E85 when you order a double pumper, if you are just using pump gas they won't bother to do it.

More available fuel if you're running higher boost levels.

http://www.walbrofuelpumps.com/

I was wondering does anyone think this could be the difference between the high pressure and regular 255 pump?
