Finally starting my build

Spent the past weekend pulling the motor in favor of a built motor to hit my goal of 700hp.

Old setup:
Stock motor, stock head studs made 449whp and 367 tq on E85 at 24psi.
Boost Logic GT3076 Turbo Kit
Cosworth M2 Cams
ID1000 CC injectors
AEM Fuel Rail with -8 Feed -6 return
AEM FPR at 100psi
Walbro intank feeding Bosch 044 inline
HKS Fcon VPRO
HKS EVC 6
HKS Knock AMP
Buschur Catback
Custom Intercooler piping
garrett intercooler core

New Setup:
2.0L
Buschur Stg 3 block with 300m rods
OEM BS delete kit
Fluidampr pulley
HKS timing belt
Cosworth Head gasket
L19 headstuds
Ferrea Stock size valves
Ferrea Valve guides
Ferrea Valve Seals
Full port and polish / valve job
Magnus V5 cast manifold
Boomba TB
Kiggly Beehive valve springs with retainers and seats
GSC S2 cams
PTE 6262
JDL Auto Design Forward facing vband setup
Precision 46mm Wastegate
Custom 4" exhaust with Aero Turbine muffler
ID2000CC injectors
BlaqOps double pumper feeding 2 044's with custom surge tank
Quatermaster twin disk
Bushwacker Tranny

The motor was in really good condition when it was pulled, no pitting on the tops of the pistons, no burning oil, no coolant being pushed. Pulled the motor to build and hopefully hit my goal of 700whp.

Tuning is done by Jon of ProTech in Austin

I'll be posting pics from time to time of the build and parts arriving daily.

Looks good man. To save yourself some money I would use Manley turbo tuff rods. They will support 700 easily.

True fact man, thanks for the advice. The way I saw it though was if I was already going to spend the money, might as well just get something that won't break with whatever I throw at it.

Beast might be an understatement. 700hp would be all kinds of scary. Good luck on the build

This is the type of build I am looking into doing, your car is going to be a monster and hitting your goal is going to be easy. Maybe one day I can see this bad boy on the streets.
