RMR exhaust rubbing
Hello guys. Just to inform you guys with RMR cat-back exhaust. I noticed on mine that it rubs the bottom bumper once in a while and if you don't find a way to move it alittle bit, it will melt the bumper a little bit when driving hard. so either trim the edge of the bumper or what I did was put some left over door trim guard so that when it rubs it doesn't hit the bumper. Also I have a another thread for all you exhaust guys.

Make sure that your exhaust is aligned correctly. I've had the RMR exhaust since April and it is nowhere near rubbing. As far as the sound, I love it. Not too loud, but deep and throaty. No fart can sound. Go to RMR's site and listen to the sound clip.

My guess is that the rear hanger isn't in place - once it's in its correct position it should locate the exhaust tip about center in the opening with about an inch of clearance all around and should protrude about an inch or so. I have pics on my profile if you want to see - also in the registry.

IT's not really rubbing hard it's just touches it alittle. as for the price, well I can't really say I got jacked because it only cost me $250. I got a "hook-up" on parts. Sounds wise, its okay. not too loud. but placement wise the perrin (magnaflow) looks way better because it sits in the original place. The RMR is on an angle. So if you like it to look "stock" in the original place, go with Perrin. Cost alittle more though.
