There have been two other posts exactly like this in this past week.

Upgrading the FMIC will assist in keeping temperatures lower and having better ability to increase the boost, fuel, and air.

Although the oem FMIC is sufficient, a larger one (3.5") would be ideal to make that power since you will be raising the boost considerably with the BBK turbo.

Stock looking intercoolers are the old version AMS one and the ebay knock off which I have heard has been pretty successful.

Wouldn't having an exhaust on your car take away from having the stock look you want?

I personally would get one, but thats me.

Your going to heat soak the stock one pretty easily with those numbers. Its just not efficient enough at that high of power.

like said before, a 3.5" would be ideal. You might sustain a touch of pressure loss but not enough to make it truly noticeable.

Get a big, huge FMIC and spray it flat black. This way it will have zero bling and would be even less noticeable than a stock IC. Bigger is better. Do a 4" core, at least.

I think you could've made 400whp without the bbk full. Maybe switched the bbk full for e85, intercooler and a tune.

I agree 100%. I would look into the Garrett 3.8" core. They are the best on the Market. Call up Michael at ETS and pick up one today. I love mine, hands down. It has been proven to make 25hp/25tq over a regular 3.5" FMIC

No.

There is not enough airflow through those intercoolers to be efficient, especially for that turbo.

No, what? You state that there is not enough airflow through "those" intercoolers? Are you meaning that the BBK's compressor doesn't move enough air to fully take advantage of a larger than stock IC, so that upgrading from stock, would be senseless, or that there is too much of a pressure drop across the ETS IC with the 3.8" Garrett core.

A lot of people swear by the Garrett 3.8" Garrett core used in both the ETS IC and the Buschur Racing Race IC. These IC's have been proven time and time again to be extremely efficient and are well suited to all of the stock framed turbos on the market.

When dealing with turbos and intercoolers...colder is better.

We have what you need on the shelf ready for shipment. If you plan on pushing the FPRed or something similar (BBK, etc.) I would recommend our 3.5" intercooler.

The stock intercooler WILL heat soak with the larger turbo on it, the new intercooler will also eliminate your 3rd gear knock and allow you to run more timing, generating more power!

I'm going to send you over a PM right now.

Thanks!

Michael
