Lancer 1996 to evo 6

hey guys,

im new here from Pakistan

well, im planning on doing a lancer 1996 swap to an evo 6 in which ill be using the evo 6 power plant. My question may sound slightly vague but honestly, im a noob and im mainly in the Honda K-series scene so im totally new to the evos. So, i was thinking whether such swaps are reliable and durable? becuase im not planning to make this a drag or track car, im into the fast, daily driven, reliable, and comfortable car. So how many points would a lancer to evo swap earn over the mentioned factors? is it good enough? because honestly, i dont plan on spending days and days at the garage getting my car fixed if something or the others gonna fail after every few days, i want this to be like any other "out of the factory evo" in all aspects...

thanks alot!

your better off just buying an evo then instead of trying to swap.

im actually buying an already swapped lancer, we actually get the jdm lancers here which are the exact same as the evo 4, its costing me half of what an actual evo 8 is.

^just that the stock lancer is fwd auto 1300 cc, and needs to relocate the fuel tank into the trunk to make it awd
