Well, being that your manifold will heat up very fast, if there is a small leak on one of the runners, the noise will go down or away after the manifold expands. I'm being serious, check the manifold. It sounds like it's in synch with one cylinder........If that's not it, we'll go from there.

Agreed. It really does sound like an air pulse coming when the cylinder fires. I would check the manifold for hairline cracks around the welds.

Bro, that manifold is right under the valve cover and connected to the head. In close quarters like that, it can sound like it's coming from anywhere. Do you still have your stocker? If you do, slap that ***** on there and see what happens.

ok update of the fix..

The guy i bought my car from has left me tons of suprises and found more to add to the list..

He was missing (2)12's on the lower part of the manifold, and the right side 14 inch nut was finger loose :| Tighted it up added 2 nuts and BOOM the tick and leak is GONE :P Thanks guys. just needed a day off of work to put a little TLC into it.

Yeah where were you when I was having the same problem 2 months ago?? J/K Good call though man and it makes me feel better knowing now that that's probably what my problem was as well. For a while there I was terrified it was something a lot worse.

Awesome you found it! Bumble bee sound is normally always exh. leak...... When the motor is dead cold, if you turn it on and run your hands around all the joints you will find the leaks... that is what I've been doing for years........ (careful that mani gets hot quick, but you should have ~40 sec... plenty of time

Thats because it only smokes when u use the brake booster hose to suck the liquid in. 1/3 in tank, 1/3 in oil, 1/3 using the hose. Instructions on the side of can.
