I always run Redline shock proof in T-case.. The Teflon that’s in there helps protect the T-case.
As for the pictures.. Your fluid is black because it’s overheated and wasn't protecting. You can tell the fluid was wrong or just old. Not to mention the heat marks all over gears faces. Not good news at all.. You’ll need to replace ring, pinion and bearings. Or find a used T-case.
