1600cc, Single Walbro?

Was told this setup will work, but was also told it wont. Turbo is only a FP Green, and will have a 93 and E85 map (will mostly be on the 93).

The 1600's will work if you can get them dialed in close on E85, but pump gas the car is going to be real rich and run like crap. I would go for the FIC Bluemax 1450's. The run great on Pump and will support around 650hp on a dyno jet on E85.

Okay thanks. And will it be okay with pump gas if I throw in another walbro?

Hopefully, we are talking about a set of Bluemax 1600cc injectors, which will work, but are unnecessary unless you're realistically making north of 700whp with E85.

If what you are referring to is the old-school, Bosch pintle style 1600cc that everyone's dropped like a hot potato by now, they are so outclassed and run so poorly on 93 that they wouldn't even be worth installing.

1600cc is overkill with a Green. Especially if you mean an old school FP Green, not the HTA wheel. The double pump will not make a difference as the main concern is with 93 octane drivability. For your setup you would use a fraction of a percent of what those injectors can do, and down that low they just can't manage the fuel that well, you will run rich and idle like ****.

I would scrub them and go with the bluemax or at least the PTE 1000's or 1200's. I had the 1200s with my 2.0 stock setup with an HTA green and it worked well, but you will use less fuel for sure. I was making around mid 400's horsepower and around 420 torque with my setup on a Mustang Dyno. I scrapped them to go with the new ID2000's for the new 2.1L setup I am running. If you really want a huge injector, that can drive great on 93 octane or E-85 you can give those a look. They will be DRASTIC overkill for what you'll need, but you will never have to buy another injector again down the road if you choose to do a motor build. They are so easy to tune, and manage fuel EXTREMELY well, they are rather costly though. That is the down side.

Listen to Ted B and others here, scrap those and change it up. FIC, PTE or the ID's as I just stated.

Good luck

Yes I am well aware they are extreme overkill for my setup. I just wanted to know if they would dial in okay. Thanks for all the advice. Yes, they are Bosch 1600's, haha.

Thanks again.

Some things aren't worth installing, even if you get them for free. This is one such item. If you 'will mostly be on the 93', they stink.

FYI

The FIC 1450's will def. work with twin walbro's. They are probably the biggest injector you will get to run like stock, unless you go with the new 2150's from FIC.

Intake, exhaust, wally255hp, fmic/pipes, hks 272's, aem uego, arp headstuds, etc... the times in my sig were on a stock VIII turbo.

I'd like to see if there is anyone with first hand experience with these injectors. I don't mind running E85 full time... the station is only 4 miles away.

E-85 shouldn't be too big of a problem, 93 octane is the main concern. 1600 cc is still a lot for your goals, so I am not sure what the IDC will be for them on E-85. I would swap them out regardless.

Most people have gotten rid of them except for straight drag car use. You might find a few on here though who still run them.

"Boush"? Um, ok.

E85 wouldn't be the problem. It's 93 octane that will expose the shortcomings of those old, slow injectors.

E-85 most likely, but still 1600cc for an old school green and no built motors is overkill.
