WTF!!!! Evo Is Going Crazy... I Need HELP!
It started today. I was coming to a stop on a red light so I press the clutch, put it in neutral and start breaking. I come to a complete stop and I let go of the break and the car starts to roll. I press the clutch thinking its still in gear and it stops rolling. I let go of the clutch and the car starts to drive in NEUTRAL. WTF!!!! I get home to park it in the garage when I start backing up into the garage when all of a sudden the car just stops. While reversing the car wants to go forward also. Wants to do both at the same time. WTF x2!!! I just got an Exedy Twin Disk clutch put in a month ago and everything was fine until today. Can someone tell me what could be the problem. Clutch? Trans? This is frustrating...

sounds like the clutch plates are not being released all the way. it is needing some release adjustment. contact your installers for more assistance. you may also search here for possible other solutions others have done....

You must be loaded with money buddy... They did guarantee the work so why go to another shop and spend more money where I could go back and not pay for their mistakes...

Sounds worse than just a clutch issue. Sounds like one of the forward gear synchros is fudged, or if you're lucky it's just a shifter adjustment. The clutch, even if improperly adjusted, would still not roll the car forward in neutral. The synchros are kinda like little clutches in the tranny, with some pressure acting on them, be it from something internally messed up or just from improper linkage adjustment, this would cause the car to roll forward in neutral. However, I'm really not liking this, because it does it even in reverse. Good luck Buddy. Might be time to call Shep.
