Some of the 5k dip is getting the cams to work with the MIVEC map. I moved it around a little and got the dip better but some of it is also actual ignition timing. I dont normally release break in tune stuff (other than mine) but Mikey needed some results shown so rough or not here it is

For a "rough" tune the car is amazingly strong! I was playing in the rain tonight with a KB cobra

There is def more adjustments that will be made. The MIVEC/Timing will all have to be redone anyway once my new cams get installed, not to mention playing with the exhaust cam a bit and see what happens.

Video is not that great. Thomas had an actually camcorder and will be putting the vid up later. This is a crappy cam video. However, the turbo sounds so sick. The whine is louder than the Red and you can hear the turbo just cruising down the interstate.

I was playing with my friends 600hp KB Cobra last night but it was raining... I don't think I'll actually race him till after my next tune. I could use that extra 100hp.

I don't see any reason why your Evo wouldn't ATLEAST hang with that cobra

 

Mikey doesn't hang with anyone. I don't like getting beat. I'll just wait till I retune! He wants to race me now but for $100. We messed around back when I was stock motor 535 and he pulled from me getting on the interstate, not bad, but enough that he would have beat me if we raced back then. I don't think 565hp is enough. I want 650 before I race him.

Second that! Thats the reason why I sent the Red back that I had to exchange it for a Black when I decided on doing the 2.4
