just my opinion , my 2 cents
Normally if something would happen to a brand new Fp turbo , since this is american company they take care of it , and if its your fault they can repair it .
Imagine if u buy this turbo , would HKS cover your back ?? Like Fp or CBRD ??? ......

This turbo sounds really nice. not just another 20g. has 74mm exducer. this could be close to BBK full or hta 73 green (71mm and 73mm exducer respectively). Redesigned turbine housing with larger waste port. And friggin ball bearing yummy yummy.
I like my hta73. but my major complaint with it is how fast it falls out of boost between shifts. I have been seriously considering sending off for BB upgrade. The nicest thing about a bb turbo is how long it stays spooled up. makes a huge difference in sport driving pleasure. You dont have to speed shift to keep power up.
Looks like they redesigned there camshafts finally as well.
hate on HKS all you want but it looks like these parts will be performers.

One of the first comparisons in Australia.
Don't hate at the power figure, our dyno's read alot different to yours, that baseline pre-HKS turbo power figure of 201wkw, is about right for the average stock turbo tuned Evo with an exhaust and tune here. For some reason most are afraid of throwing boost into them.
If this comparison was at 19psi, the HKS at 25ish would be nice to see.
Hey guys we are currently doing a project here at Gt Auto Garage in brisbane, on a Evo 7 using the new HKS GTII 7460R We thought you guys might like to see the before and after results we have dynoed the car before , and we are now installing the turbo with dump pipe and mid pipe the car has a high flow cat and a HKS legamax cat back
Hey guys got the car finished today and dynoed, so we have the before and after comparsion. More impressive than the obvious power and torque increases is the responce.
Car has a HKS Pod filter and Hks Super Sequential BOV and a power Fc other than that the car is Stock. The tune was done on shell V power, the boost level for both runs was 19psi.
