As the title says, it's vid clip of my Evo. I gotta say, I am afraid to drive that thing around town now because it's going to attract police. I might have to get an exhaust back and test again.

 

WOW. that does sound pretty mean. i kinda like it though. but you are rite. i think that will attract some unwanted attention. makes exhaust sound quiet.

 

Sounds good, but definitely will attract unwanted attention. How come choppers can go around making a lot of noisy and we cant?

 

Exactly what I was thinking too. I was driving next to a Harley Davidson bike and I couldn't hear my exhaust note. I could only hear the biker

 

Def doesn't look right having the straight pipe, if you leave it like that, at least center the pipe up.....you should have stuck with a mufller and threw a electric QTP cutout on it in place of the cat or testpipe.....That's what I did to mine so everyday driving didn't attract the wrong attention!

 

I was driving with a set up like this for 2months i think and had to go back to a normal exhaust because it was too loud and it was getting on my nerves.

 

This has nothing to do with a map o2 eliminator downpipe. All straight pipe exhausts will sound he same. Now if you had a video of you cruising then going wot to here the open dump or something then it would.

 

the idle started sounding "off" in the middle/end of vid

 

when the wastegate opens that thing must sound ridiculous

 

+ just one day of driving and it's already getting on my nerve

 

im actually thinking of changing my set up from tbe similar to yours but still running the stock cat back.

 

You're not running full straight pipe like me are ya? I'm thinking of getting a new muffler section hoping it will reduce a lot of the noise. I found this exhaust for cheap on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I also found the Apexi Noir exhaust and I believe the ebay one is a copy of that version because they look identical. Reason I like this exhaust is the tip is smaller unlike my 4" tip. I want 3" but with a smaller tip of at least 3 to 3.5" to keep attention off.
