Stock EVO 8 Injectors "vs" RC Injectors
Really need the Evo 8 Guys help here.
I know that this is a long shot but I need some information from people here.
I was wondering if there is a Big Difference between the Stock EVO 8 560cc Injectors and the RC 550cc Injectors. Reason for asking is that there are alot of People in the toyota Supra forums that use RCs but these look like a better Injector because of the 4 nozzle Spray Pattern.
One of the members from there are Selling these 560cc (Red or Pink looking) injectors (Part number MDL560P if that helps) staying that they will flow just as well as the RC 550cc Injectors that everyone is using.
Before I purchase a set, I would like to hear it from you all. Will the Stocker EVO 8 do just as well as the RCs. How is the flow versus a single spray pattern like RC 550s have, and Basically, Would you recommend them as a Upgrade to the 87-92 Supra turbo guys. Stock injectors on there cars are 440s
Also, Is there a Upgraded injectors in the same style that you all use if I wanted to go larger than 560cc but in the same 4 port spray pattern?
Any Advice would be greatly Appreciated

Did you even read his post? He wants to use a set of stock evo 8 injectors for a supra.
In his case they would be an upgrade in size.
To the OP, I'm sure you could get 6 used evo 8 injectors for really cheap. If you know for sure that they would fit then there would be very little risk in giving it a shot.

Stock Supra Injectors are 440cc so the EVO 8 560cc Injectors are an Upgrade for us supra guys. Only thing that is concerning me is that all the 550 and Above injectors that I have found for the Supra are Single Spray nozzle. With the 560 injectors that you all have, they have a 4 Hole spray pattern and would Idle 100% better than the RCs.
Now saying that, Do you see there being a problem in the Spray pattern or do the Stock one Provide enough fuel for a Inline 6 engine? Also, I want some 650 or 680s but n the EVO world, do they make them with the same 4 Port Spray nozzles? This would help me greatly.
Thanks for all the comments
Robert

They will fit, Actually they fit Perfect in our stock fuel rails. No Modifications what so ever. there are 2 People that I know running them but no info on How well they flow under boost vs a RC supra injector.

If that RC injector is a pintle type (single needle-like tip), I would avoid it like the plague, especially if one considers using E85. We've already seen what a bit of rogue residue does to a pintle type injector (e.g. Deatschwerks), and subsequently the engine.
In a 6-cyl engine, a std EVO injector should be good for somewhere in the 550-600whp area.
FYI

Ted: Are all RC injectors for the Evo the pintle type? I just bought a set of RC 1000's for my Evo. If, in fact, I should flush them down the sewers of Paris...let me know. Then I'll sell these and get some FIC 1250's. I haven't installed these RC injectors yet.

Now, Does the EVO world offer anything in like 650cc - 680cc in a 4 Port Spray pattern or are you also stuck with Single pintle once you Upgrade from the 560s. I want a Set of 650 - 680cc but would like them to be in a 4 needle Spray pattern like the 560s are.

Take a photo of the exit end.
You don't want a pintle type with E85. It's time to visit: http://www.fuelinjectorclinic.com/
FWIW, the ball-type injectors that most here use aren't pintle types, and we aren't suffering from atomization issues as a group.

This is what the Stock Supra 440 injectors look like End side.....
Im trying to see if the EVO world when they upgrade to anything larger than stockers have to deal with the Single hole or are the ends of your Injectors a 3 or 4 Hole style.

I'm not sure why you're hung up on the number of exit holes. If that were such a guarantee of anything, than everyone in the industry would be doing the same thning. I feel you're agonizing over a detail that isn't an indicator of anything. It does not guarantee better fuel atomization.
