Having my tranny built by Shep! Ordered the street strip rebuild and decided to just go with REM ISF treatment on everything.
I really considered going with the ultimate ratio set up or just the Evo IX first gear but this thing is still a daily driver. Evo IX first gear would be nice but no need for the IX 5th. Gives you great rpm drop from 4th to 5th but runs about 10% higher rpm than the stock Evo VIII 5th.
Should shift like a dream and should be in within a week.

No injuries. Gonna suck having to explain to the adjuster that I don’t want the intercooler and the radiator replaced back to OEM and that it’s cheaper to get another ETS 3.5 intercooler and Mishimoto Radiator. Mechanically everything seems ok but I couldn’t get the hood open to really take a look. Car runs and drives. Had it towed only because of the moderate coolant leak. Air bags did not deploy fortunately.
Really ****ty part is that I have a newely built Shep Trans sitting in my garage. I just finished saving up enough to get a 23psi tune and then this happened. Guess i get to use that money for the deductable.
First and only accident ive been in in my 24 years of life. It was clearly my fault.

^ You don't have to tell the insurance adjuster about the mods. Just find a good body shop and tell them they can have the work, but you need non oem stuff and its cheaper. They won't care. Then tell the insurance company which shop you chose.
