Walbro fuel pump question!!!!!

i just got my 255 Walbro, can i install and run it untune for lil while? is it gonna hurt the car? what can happen?

im pretty sure u can run it....that pump's fuction is mainly to allow more fuel as you make more horsepower...if you put injectors in thats when you need a tune because the ecu has a certain scaling for the size of them and when you put bigger ones in the car idles funny

you will only run richer, because your car doesnt know that you changed the pump. there arent any real risks, your only going to lose gas mileage.

The fuel presure regulator will maintain the fuel flow regaurdless of pump. You can always get an AFPR if you want to be safe.

The regulator regulates pressure. The injectors regulate the flow. The injectors will still flow what they are supposed to at xx bar of fuel pressure. They don't care about what kind of pump is installed. Walboro drop on or an A1000.

i am assuming he is still running MAF... which means the ECU will regulate.
