These the one step cooler plugs for and Evo IX. I only ran then for about 400 miles when my car started running like crap. I figured that the Evo didn't need colder plugs so went back to oem.

Now I'm getting Spoolin COP kit and wondering if these still look ok to run at a higher gap, probably .026 or .025:

All of them look identical

Arc is not cracked, I was just gapping them with pliers so its probably from that. I will take another look at that scratch. Thanks

spark plugs are a cheap way of maintaining your car, pep boys NGK BPR-7es for 2 bucks each buy 20 and switch em out every 2 oils changes if you are heavily modded.

yea, but Evo IX plugs are around $45 for 4. That's why I'm curious if I can reuse these since they only have about 300-400 miles on them.

they look decent. the tops arent white so they should still be usable but if u start getting misfires time to replace

Is there some rule that you should not run spark plugs for more then 400 miles that I'm not aware off?

I put these in and my car was running rich, and that is why you see them fouled up a little. I'm just checking if they are too fouled up.

If you only had them in for 400 miles and took them out to check them I would think it would be fine to reuse them, then again I run the BPR7ES and they cost like $8 at o'reillys so I'd just change them. Hell I change mine every 3k miles when I do my oil anyways because I'd rather be safe then sorry.

I would also just replace them. Considering the amount of money in a car a spark plug is just a drop in the ocean. If the plugs come out they never go back in if you ask me. Its the easiest thing to change on the car and the cheapest.
