Results for a B/W S300SX3?

Hey guys I'm trying to track down results for the 66mm version of this turbo.
I want to stick it on my 2.3L for time attack.

Thanks

the 91-79 (65mm) is a great turbo, however I'm not sure I'd recommend it for a 4cyl

You may be much happer with the 88-75 (63mm) or possibly the 83/75 (60mm), esp on a time attack (response oriented) car

FWIW, On my RB26 (2.6L) and the 91-79, I've made 718rwhp/586rqtq @ 25psi on E85

Sounds like a good turbo. I was going to stick it on my 2.5L e85 wrx. it will rev to 9k, so it looks like it would be a good thing.
can you post up your dyno sheet with your rb?
Thanks

Here is an overlay of a few dynos.

I am sponsored by B/W Airwerks in my rb Z32.....they have sent me a few to try out.

The following overlay shows the 83/75, and the 91/79 at the same boost leve (~25psi) both on E85

I had a little dip in the powerband up top on the 91/79, due to I believe an igntion failure. The stock RB ignition system is good up to 750rwhp or so...on a dynojet this could have been around 800rwhp, so I know I was pushing it.

I would really consider the smaller 60mm or 63mm unit. You're going to see better transient reponse due to the smaller compressor size

Hope this helps

I'll also be running a 6 speed sequential gearbox also.
There seems to be no difference between the 82 and 91?

You can also see the TQ lay over and start dropping when it hits full boost. 25psi on the 60mm was at 4400 and 25psi on the 66mm was around 5600rpm
i'm confused.
at 3700 they are making the same power.
Red is power, blue is torque?
Apart from the 3800 - 4500 range, the 66mm is better in every way.
Well thats what the graphs show.
Hard to believe those graphs are for the same boost.

wow, its been a few months since I looked at those graphs, and yes, you're right

I am colorblind, thats an MF'er....lol. I seriously see 4 of the same colored line...

The spool characteristics can most likely be attributed to the true twin scroll setup....

The only place I've actually found BW airwerks for sale is on full-race's site. I'll be picking up the 91-79 pretty soon, I'll share the info when I get it. Going on a 2.0l.

IIRC Full Race and Bullseye sell very different turbos.

If you can rev to 9k and you really need that much power for time attack, its a great turbo. Otherwise, the 63mm may be a better choice, but it really depends on the layout of the track, and how your car is setup (especially related to the chassis).

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It really depends which you are talking about.

The S362 has a 62/63mm compressor, depending on who you ask. The 83/75 is a 60mm.
