coolant leaking out of side of block
Ok guys Im having a major problem Im losing coolant out of the side of my block Im just not sure exactly where. It comes from behind the lower timing belt cover right next to the crank pulley. What is back there that could be causing coolant to leak out. Its a rather big leak it leaves decent sized puddles under the car and my radiator fluid is low.
The car still drives fine but does occassionally puff white smoke from the exhaust sometimes. I can still boost but power seems to be a little down.
What do you guys think is the problem here?

If the head lifted enough for coolant to leak like you're describing, you'd definitly notice discoloring in the coolant itself. Is this the case?
I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and vote for the water pump. I know you're really not gonna wanna hear this but you should stop driving that thing and get it fixed asap. If coolant gets on your timing belt and it slips, it could cause you serioUs heartache.
