Anyways enough of my ramblings.. I've seen more meth-related engine wreckage than anything else on here since I've been on the forums.. I'd take E85 any day of the week if it's available

yea it was a big decision, full of problems. Bought a shortblock and crank off member on here, was told it was good core to rebuild and it had spun a bearing. Machine shop had to bore it .040 over to get a decent surface and the crank that came with it was complete junk. The air conditioner mounting bosses had been welded back on the engine after what must have been a crash of the car it was in.. looked alot worse after hot tanking it. That's the chance you take buying used, and also my fault for not inspecting it closer and saying "no thanks" when I saw a few signs it might be roughed up bad. Of course, at the time there were very few around with the crank and I wanted to get my car back on the road ASAP so I bought it.
