Similar to stock quiet:

Louder than stock but law friendly and toned way down.

Actually I was following your thread and have similar goals in terms of noise and power loss. Unfortunately the mixed reviews with the 'flapper' design sent me in a different direction - Greddy SP2. I have not heard the Dynomax muffler in person, but my SP2 is nearly stock quiet and I am quite confident has not robbed me of any hp.

I will post a before and after dyno plot along with dB readings in the car (at idle, WOT, and highway cruising.)

What exhaust do you have?

Even though I love the sound and look of my SP2, I'm considering selling it for a true 3", better flowing exhaust. I think it's going to rob me of some power at the level I'm shooting for.

The SP2 is not a true 3"?

The SP2 tapers down to less than 3" inside of the resonator and muffler.
