ACT HDSS or Exedy Stage 1 HD?
Gents, I'd like your opinions on these two clutches. The cost is about the same, the ACT being about $50 more than the Exedy.
My intended usage may include a couple trips to the drag strip per year, and maybe a couple of trips to a road course each year, but mostly street driving.
I intend to stay stock turbo and tune it for E85, and might, just might, consider porting the stocker or getting an HTA Green in a year or two, but no big turbo madness. More likely to do cams and other things, like heads, than going with a bigger turbo. I want to keep the spool like stock, and make over 400whp/tq, and use the car for road racing.
So with that in mind, what are your thoughts on these two clutches?
ACT HDSS
Exedy Stage 1 HD
Both would go in with the stock flywheel, I'm not interested in a lightened flywheel.

Good feedback, curious if anyone has more experience on why the Exedy single disc HD is worse?
Leaning heavily towards the HDSS for now, pending a little more info.
Thanks for all the feedback so far gents!

I actually had the xtss for almost 10,000 miles with great results.
Then I moved the a QM twin when I had the big turbo.
Now that I am stock turbomagain, guess what... Xtss again!!!
Excellent unit, and it holds power.... Currently at 408/445 to the tires the clutch is just fine
