PS fluid leak diagnosis?

Hello. I noticed the other day that I have a small leak somewhere on the driver-side. I got under the car and cleaned it up (collects on lower control arm). I read the applicable service manual sections dealing with the power steering rack and lines and it is one of three things... #1- the oil seal at the end of the tie-rod that connects to the steering rack #2- the PS fluid return line, or... #3- one of the o-rings (there are a few).

My question is: What typically ends up leaking and why? I recently installed new transmission, t-case, etc., so it definitely could be something wasn't tightened properly. Idk. Any/all help would be appreciated.

I just drained the PS fluid a bit and added that Lucas Oil P/S Stop Leak stuff. I'll find out if it helped this week
