FP Black intake options

Hello. I will be ordering up my new FP Black this week and was wondering about my choices regarding intake tubes. I am on the AEM EMS and SD, so no need for a recirc pipe, MAF, etc. My only choices seem to be:

1. Dejon
2. FP
3. PPI

I don't like the FP one and much rather have a pipe over a silicone hose. Can anyone provide me with details of others available?

I built my own:

Parts List:
1 - 3.25" - 4" silicone Reducer/coupler
1 - Spectre 4" aluminum 45 elbow part# 9749
2 - 4" t-bolt clamps (could use worm-gear clamps)
1 - 3.25" worm gear clamp
1 - 4" K&N Filter, part# RE-0870

I cut 1" off of the turbo side of the 45* elbow to get the filter to clear everything, everything else should be self-explanitory.

Total cost was under $90.

Spectre also has a 22* 4" elbow (part# 9729) that 'might' work to lay the filter down flater.

Spectre also makes 30*, 35* and 40* 4" Elbows to adjust that filter into the perfect position. Check out their website...it's awesome.

Does anyone have pictures of the Dejon intake out in the open and then installed? A quick search came up with nothing.

I use a Buschur 3" intake with a Hose Techniques 80mm/3" coupler. Fits perfect and Robert@FP said that was big enough to keep vacuum levels in the intake tube acceptable.

can someone please confirm for me that the FP Black compressor inlet does indeed need a 3.25" coupler? Thanks

The quantities were limited and I last heard they were sold out. And yes the inlet is 3 1/4

I decided to go with the Dejon 4" intake pipe and 4"x9" Amsoil intake filter. Fits perfect and looks great.

You probably won't need anything larger than 3.5".

A 4" pipe may get in the way of the wiring harness draped over the transmission case.

Here's my setup - 3.5" PPI pipe and Amsoil 7" filter. The 9" takes up too much up the engine bay.

For my build at buschur, they are making me one of their pipes, black wrinkle powder coat
