yea we all see your mods just trying to fiqure out your mindset. if you want to use the black to its potential stock block is not the way to go. I would say personally got with a br stage 3 head/ 2.4/fp black like we all are doing for even a br stage 3 head/2.3/fp black. Fun as hell street combo and auto x road course and you can even drag. if your all about top end and extremely high revs and dragging all day every day. then 2.0 or 2.1 for sure. if you dont have the funds for both a built head and shortblock i say get the shortblock and add spring and retainers and force fed said.

Thanks guys & rockman, that's pretty much what I wanted to know. I guess I realistically want a fun as hell street combo, so I guess that means 2.3 or 2.4 like you said.

I am not too familiar with the stroker kits though.. is there anything extra you need?

if you buy a stroker kit it comes with everything you need you just have to machine the block for the crank. if your going 2.4 you have to build it from scatch but will need a 100mm crank, custom waterpump adaptor plate, longer timing belt(you can use oem belt if you stretch it over idler pully), adjustible camgears, 87mm bore Headgasket. Its all worth it check out my build if your interested in 2.4. Im pretty positive FORCE-FED COULD HELP YOU OBTAIN THE PARTS YOU REQUIRE!!!!

Right on, I think a 2.3 would be a bit easier.. Plus I like the idea of staying on the 4G63.
Thanks for the info!
I'll let you know Justin, Thanks!

start here lol

built std 4g64 3200 No core
built 2.3 3550+core

LOL we have not even talked about LR2.4s lol . trust me you will be forgetting the 4g63 once you research the 4g64. if your going stroker thats the way to go. if your not then of course built 2.0
