My Evo has got a W5M51-2-X5B7 gearbox, wich is about to get rebuilt. But, before I start spending on bearings and synchros (just those alone would cost around US$1000 here in Brazil), I'd like to read some opinions on the pinion wear.



Does that look normal for a 44.000km car?

Thinking of the Evo VII as a US$50,000.00 car, it's not that bad. I just want to go the cheaper way.

Imports can be very expensive around these parts.
