Is HTA 3586 too laggy for a stock engine

I have a greddy T67 turbo kit installed but it's too laggy for my stock 2.0 so i want to change it. I don't have my stock manifold so i'm not going with FP. Question is should i get the HTA3586 or the HTA3582 or are they both still going to be laggy for my setup. I do have 280 cams, GSC springs and retainers and fuel mods. I don't drag it cause there is no track in hawaii but i will be moving to virginia in a few months so i don't know whats in store for me there. I might build later but gonna stay stock for now. Any help would be apreciated

It wont be as laggy but perhaps still a little. Your bigger issue is starting a built bottom end fund to pay for a new block when you window your old one.

If there wasnt lag everyone would have a 800whp car, Great things come to those who wait while the impatient are always two car lengths benhind(or more)....

damm johnbradley, that's amazing. How do i see your mod list? I,m pushing 425 WHP on the T67 now but i think thats a safe tune but that's all the tuner could do @ 25 psi. Why do i see some tuners only tune to 25 psi and some go to 28-30 on stock internals. I wanted to get the magnus V5 but i,ve read if i'm under 500 it won't really make a difference.

Get rid of the 280 cams. They don't mix well with big turbos at all unless you're revving to 9500-10k. You will lose some of that power up top by your redline but it'll drastically bring up your mid-range if you switch to 272s.

It would only be accurate boost to boost and I dont have a 29psi pull on pump with the 2.4

I can do 26 to 26 for the 2.0 vs 2.4 on 92?

HKS 280 arent hurting spool. Keep them for now. Intake manifold was worth 45whp on my car at 530 on pump.

If you don't road race your car, then the FP journal bearing turbos are the way to go for most bang for your buck..

I dont have any really back to back ones now that I look. Honestly it doesnt look that much different...maybe 400rpm to full boost? Its torque thats being produced everywhere else though, 300 ft lbs at 4600 vs 5050.
