intake question!!! just need some advise and opions

im going to VTA and still running on stock turbo. just wonder is it ok if i use 2.75" of intake pipe then have a reducer coupler (2.75"-3") to connect to the maf? or 3" all the way will be better?

either way will be fine with a tune. Althought it is not recc that you go VTA on stock ecu without speed density patches.

yeah don't go vta if you have maf. get a speed density set up and a tune if you want vta or else you'll be slower..

Go vta if you want..I have been vta for over 4 years with no problems at all. Sometimes my idle drops low coming to a stop after hard acceleration but a quick blip of the throttle picks rpms back up to normal...doesn't bother me at all but besides that everything has been fine for me on stock maf with 35r turbo and tial BOV.

About the piping...you will be fine with the reducer or the 3" pipe, shouldn't really make much of a difference
