Best turbo for a street monster??
Hey guys, I was wondering and trying to get some opinions on what turbo to run. I have a built 2.0 and want a mean machine for the street lol. I want something that comes in quick and hold that power all the way to 8k. Any recommendations? Fp Black? 3076? 3071? Thanks.
Edited: I really appreciate all the opinions on what to do. But at this time I am NOT looking to stroke my motor. I have a built 2.0. List as follows;
Wiseco Pistons
Manley Rods
ACL Race Bearings
Supertech Dual Valve Springs
Supertech Valve Retainers
Kelford 272's
Fidanza Cam Gears
Perrin Fuel Rail
Precision 750s
Full Blow Double Pumper
Buschar Race Intercooler

^ he wants quick spool that's a little Laggy... I would recommend either fpred or bbkb both are able to get you in the 450awhp and both reliable turbos and spool up pretty close to stock I'm not too sure it will spool all the way to 8k you'd prob should have stroked it like stated above also 3076 isn't that bad that would be my 3rd consideration.... well gl and keep us posted!

Take advantage of the built 2.0 block & go with the FP HTA 3582 or Precision 6262 both will be able to spool up to 8000 rpm & then some.

Seriously guys, why are you telling him to go to a stroker or larger motor... He says he has a built 2.0.. If he has the right combination of built, then there's no reason he can't rev to 9500+... That will spool just about anything.. Just as a few above already recommended, 6262, 3582, 3586TS... or a BWS3XX would be great as well.. You have many options.. Just look around and ask more than a couple of established builders/tuners and they can give you a good recommendation dependent on your specific needs and wants..
