And even that is pricy. But slowly and slowly it'll all come together. Just do it right nice and slow. at the end you're car is still faster accelerating and better handling than a 95k porsche for under 40k and that is the ultimate bottom line to the evo period
you need to update your sig starting to make me mad. you need to add a coming soon section or ordered section because my old/your new exedy twin has been shipped. NOW take your time and research and buy your parts ask plenty of questions along the way so you dont waste money. It took me a year and a couple months to collect parts for my build. The evo is in a completely different level once built more fun and you dont have to worry about staying withing guidlines of tq. Then having to scale back your true power potenial unless you dont care stocker it is

well that and the OP isn't really telling us what he wants to do with the car most of the questions he stated he should be asking himself before posting

but I agree with everything rockmanX has said

who's doing your build if you don't me asking?

all I gotta say is be patient take your time and DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME

Also if you get a 35r you're gonna need a lot more fuel(I'm gonna guess 1450cc if not larger depending on what kind of fuel you will be using)and a double pumper. Once you get the fueling sorted out you're gonna be limited by the oem bottom end and then what? might as well just do it all at once

if you are not going to e85 a single walbro would be enough but you will definitely need bigger injectors. make sure you get a good tuner and possibly get it dyno tuned so that you could monitor the tq and keep it on the safe side.

Give me a call at the shop and we can get you setup with everything you will need to get her done. We have been there several times and know what it really takes.

What would be my best bet in this scenario?

How much can my stock block handle?

Will I need to run a double pumper set up ?

What do you reccomend for building a head? As in what kind of valve train? 272 or 280 cams ?

Also I really have my heart set on the front face manifold, I realize that most people think it is more of a " just for looks " mod but its what I want. What would you guys reccomend the size of turbo I should go for ?

Sorry for all the questions but I have been scouring through pages of great info and I just havent found all of the information I need to go through with my build.
Probably doesn't need to be mentioned but people often forget it when it comes to builds like this and that's to not cut corners do it right and spend the money that way you only have to do it once.

I have 1000 ccs right now, I am on E-85, I will stick to E-85 for my set up.

Thanks for the input, this car is strictly build for drag only. Its a weekend car as well.

Rock,

I've received the clutch. It's in good shape i'm gon order the rebuild kit. Sig updated. I know to research and take time it's a lot. and it is pricy but no big deal if budgeted properly. matt from spoolinup is near my house so i should go pick one up if there are any available.

Emery @ stm,
thanks for shipping the ic couplers and tbolt clamps.

42revo,

fic 1450 will let your idc not be so high and they drive like stock if tuned and scaled nicely. But, for now the 1000s are enough i assume

talk with emery at STM, for the stock block game i want to say there is no one better.

I didnt spend the afforementiond 20K and i am right at the 520ish whp on a low,low reading mustang dyno and low 10 sec time slips. my car is still 98% full weight and i can suprise a few people when it comes to a random contest of speed. It all in the right combo of parts with a good tuner behind them, Any questions on a stock block question ask emery, myself, draven83, or lillev23. we all seem to be going after stupid fast times on the stock block.

In the end with the stock block you have to know that it might go at any time because you are pushing it to its limit and eventually anything, no matter how built it is it will let go.
