havent got it done yet, its still at the machine shop getting the guides installed and the other machine work done then ive gotta take it to another machine shop thats gonna flow it. im guessing ill pick it up sometime this week and take it to get flowed.

as for the intake ports being mirror smooth, well u dont want the ports mirror smooth not only is it a waste of time it doesnt help performance at all if anything it may hurt performance vs a nice 60 grit finish as u see on all my intake and exhaust ports.

I was wondering about that , do you really think that a "knife edge" is better than at least a small radius ? I would have thought that sharp edges were a no no given that air flows in a fluid like fashion .

Just a thought , cheers Adrian .

ok i finally went and picked the head up today and the numbers are right about what i guessed they would be at .500" lift. they are as follows.......

intake:

.050"- 73.6
.100"- 117.3
.150"- 151.7
.200"- 188.6
.250"- 214.8
.300"- 227.1
.350"- 240.5
.400"- 252.6
.450"- 260.2
.500"- 265.2

exhaust:

.050"- 58.3
.100"- 89.4
.150"- 122.0
.200"- 152.4
.250"- 176.3
.300"- 194.4
.350"- 207.5
.400"- 217.6
.450"- 224.3
.500"- 230.7

im pleased with the results as these are stock sized valves and there isnt a whole lot of porting done to the head as could have been done (i mean it flows basically what i guessed it would). ill find somebody that wants a o/s valve race ported head and as soon as i do ill get it flowed and have the numbers up.
