For now, use what you have been using. In October there will be a new standardization that will include E85. I've posted it before. Some information is here--> http://phx.corporate-ir.net/External...xUeXBlPTM=&t=1

This is a very good topic, can we get some engine builders that are using E85 to give their input.

hey bud, right now because this ethanol thing is so new many companies are due for results some have alrrady integrated additives into their mix,,, like tedb mentionned before, when buying oil make sure the TBN number is on the high end you want something 8 or higher the higher the better,,, you will find oils like Mobile are on the low side scale of synthetics or any other off the shelf oil that you find at the store they will not give you the best for these types of cars, will they be ok of course will they be the best NOP, they are meant for one thing and thats to sell in large quantities and they want you back buying more as soon as posible .

AMSOIL has an additive that is more like a fuel stable but for ethanol, there is no ethanol specific oil but there are good synthetics that have high TBN numbers that will fight all the impurities ethanol throws at oils, just make sure you have a high quality oil and it will take you long ways,,,

you know its one of those deals where its pay me now or pay me later, pay for high end oil or pay sooner for a motor and all the headechs,,, and of course there are many variables that play in this
