Going e85 the cons and bad.
I was thinking of going e85 for quit some time now it's everywhere near me 3 stations within 3 miles..What are the downsides of going this route and good sides to it not a e85 expert here but was wondering if I drove on a trip and use the dual map for pump how does this work do I have to let all the e 85 go down to empty with the light flashing then fill up and what about when I go back to e 85 ??Also how much power will I pick up doing this fuel to pump??

Cliff notes -
Pros - cheap race like fuel (allows you to run a ton of boost and is very knock resistant)
Cons - gas mileage is a lot worse ~30% in some cases and generally not readily available throughout the US
Obviously you have to use the appropriate injectors and fuel pump(s) depending on your setup...

Just like taking off the MAF finally and going speed density - you'll never look back. Instead you'll ask yourself why didn't you do this sooner?
Depends on your setup obviously. If your on stock block and almost maxing out your turbo like me (on the bbk) I only gained 50whp but a lot of torque. If you have a built block and aren't out of compressor then I'd imagine the gains would be in the hundreds of whp just like race gas.

it all depends on your setup. I can run both E85 and Pump, I get 18MPG on E85 and 25MPG on Pump. the HP side of it is, 497WHP on E85 at 27PSI of boost and 396WHP on Pump at 27PSI of Boost. Again this all depends on your setup. I also have a long list of parts installed on my car. I can go alot more power if i wanted but I like to be safe with my car and any more power WILL end in breakage at some point. you can look at my garage (on here) and see what i have done to my car if you want. I will say youll have to run bigger injectors and for me i had to run a second 255LPM fuel pump.

It's always worth doing, but you probably can't turn the wick up too much on the stock block with the 6262. I'm not speaking from experience here, never owned one, but I'm guessing your already at 400+ ft/lbs on pump gas so you probably don't need to push the cylinder pressure much higher on the stock block. If your long term goal is to build the block then I'd just start building the fuel system now and make the switch and just not go too crazy with boost.

Yeah I'm at 420tq and 560 whp on 31 psi..I guess the tq will go up with the e85??

by the way im still running the stock block and pushing 497WHP (not ajusted power, thats what i got on a summer day) and 397WTQ. you dont want to go over 500WHP on stock block (you can but the liklyhood of breaking something goes up alot) and 400WTQ on stock T-case and Trans because you can break them. Even if your clutch is upgraded you can still break the T-case and Trans (all depends on your driving and how you launch your car). I like to be safe with my car!

My tq is in the ballpark of 420 to 405tq..Thats true just depends on how you drive the tune etc.etc.I think on 28 psi the car made 535whp but left on 31 psi it's more fun..The only thing I might do is adjust is my launch map it builds 15 psi on the 2 step and shoots 3 foot flames its way to crazy..

^yeah i like shooting flames! I once saw a friend shoot flames out the back of his 9 and the flames went up, then under the spoiler and back across the top of the spoiler. it was a long flame! really crazy!
E85 is a good thing as long as you can get it, I run it all the time. Once i got it in my car i have not changed it back to gas yet.
