I'm wishing to become pregnant and trade the offspring (and afterbirth) to N/A my evo as soon as you sort out all the bugs and come out with the bolt-on kit.

(also willing to trade for a Yugo in reasonable condition with a new spare tire in the engine bay)

It would be an upgrade over a Yugo but definitely not worth pursuing for competition.

You now need some pointers from the Honda Guys. Lol
I hope you can get at least 200whp.

Its not percentage loss, its normal mechanical loss. That being said Evos lose around 60-65hp from crank to wheels.

Still pathetic, that was teh point.

Well actually, it'd be a combination of both. Gear/wheel/engine/etc inertia is based on acceleration and would be % based and differ in each gear, but drag would be more of a nominal value. Which one has more merit? Don't know

Just playing devils advocate though

Lack of MIVEC in this case I think. I didnt have enough time to make cam gear changes on the dyno between our two shop Hondas we had to tune for BOTI this weekend. The 110* centerline of the S2s, while great when used in a turbo motor, needed tightened up some in this car. The torque dip looks bad but when you look at the horsepower its simply not gaining. The other thing I am wondering about is the intake manifold and header. The idea was to test this somewhat and see what we could do with what we had. The "bench race committee" had thought that we might be able to double whatever this did. I do not see it being economically feasible.

If someone lacked the coefficients and had an Evo for a Rally car (an odd choice really if they lacked the ability to race it in Open) you could do this to pick up the needed coefficients in regional events and then convert it back.

Being Yugosolavian, i'm supporting the (only) car of my people. Which, strangly, can be tuned to put out about as much power as a N/A evo!

Well stock yugos make 50whp. Dont ask I dont want to explain why I know that. I think they are probably also about half the weight of an evo
