Any body having lockout issues with the act 6 puck sprung clutch?

Any body having lockout issues with the act 6 puck sprung clutch with heavy duty pressure plate when reving to 8500 rpms with fast shifts? I would rather go with a single disk over a twin or triple plate clutch, because I do want my car to sound like a beater with loose bolts rattling on metal. Guys if their are any single plate sprung clutches on the market that can hold 600+tq and are reliable and can shift fast with, please let me know.

If you want less mass for quick shifts why not look into the act full face solid hub disc........

Missed that part, every ACT 6 puck sprung I've driven has been good for up to 8k, never tried to go higher.

Best of luck finding one and if you do please let me in on the magic clutch

To hold all that TQ i'd bet that pedal pressure would be un-godly

What car are you making 600 wtq??? 500 i could see......anyway, the puck's can hold allot, but not 600 wtq....your in triple territory...or Tilton Carbon territory (not a street clutch)

I never said 600+wtq. I said 600+tq. I would expect to make around 470 wtq with a hta86 turbo kit.

Everyone has that issue.. Doesnt matter who built the trans or who makes the clutch.. Its physically too heavy to slow down at the RPM your spinning if you shift the car fast.. The best of the singles is an ACT we use thats Unsprung.. Other than that twins are the only way to turn high rpm and shift the car fast..

Have you guys experinced any issues with a act 6 puck sprung clutch shifting at 8500 rpms or more shifting fast but without NTLS. I'm not trying to break my transmission.

Sprung clutches are to heavy.. If you shift slower they go in.. If you shift fast even lifting a little they usually dont go in still
