New Exedy Twin Slipping!

Just as the title says....I had an exedy twin installed and put about 1000 miles of easy street driving on it. The clutch seemed to do fine, no slipping. It was a completely different story once the car was put on the dyno. The clutch literally starts slipping at about 2700 rpms! How is this brand new exedy twin slipping without seeing any boost!?

Where does the clutch start to grab? The usually like a high engagment, also was it properly installed...oil contamination will ruin a clutch.

How much power/torque does your car push? Who did the installation?

Well we didn't get to make any pulls but I would guess it makes like 450-470whp. I doubt power has much to do with it though since it lets loose before it builds any boost. And I'm not going to name anyone unless I find out for sure they are at fault.

Ahhh don't tell me that, I've been through hell with this car lol. Can the input shaft seal be replaced without opening up the trans?

Looks like it was just the adjustment on the pedal. It must have not been fully engaging due to the rod not being far enough out. Does that sound about right?

If you dont have the MC adjusted right you can "pump up" the hydraulic system. That'll cause a constant load on the clutch and reduce clamping pressure.

Jacks transmissions has some videos explaining it really well and showing how to do it right.

yes it can... you pull the trans off and pick the seal out and press in the new one carefully without pushing it in to far that is what happened to me
