Also, if you want to improve fuel economy at freeway speeds ditch the CF wing. With the CF wing on a long cruise at 65 mph I get 30 mpg. At 75/80 mph I get 22 mpg (same streatch of road). This is right where the wing starts making good downforce....and lots of drag.

I never get over 240-250 miles a tank in the Evo which works out to around 17-18 mpg. Perhaps it's my driving style?

I'm averaging 21, "normal" style driving.

Where are the speed sensors located? On the wheels? Wondering if this will require the speedometer to be recalibrated.

And how many gallons do you put in it for each fill up? I fill up at around 250 miles also....but that is a 10.5 gallon fill up for me

Typically I can get around 13-13.5 gallons each fill up. Yes I run it close.

Damn! I ran it that close once, but I have no intention of getting my dumb *** stranded without fuel. Anyone know if our tank actually holds more than 14 Gal? I've never seen a Mitsubishi that you could take to within .5 Gal of empty without the pump losing suction.... but I have done it with the EVO and DSMBRETT does it on a regular basis.

4.98's sound nice. I would buy em.

It would definetely help this pig get out it's way without treating it like a damn prostocker!

BTW, I bought this car for the handling & braking abilities, oh yeah & it's convienient 4 doors to keep the 2 kids seats in the back!

I did a little bit of driving this weekend with our stage 2 car on the 91 octane pump gas map(310 whp on our dyno). These are my results driving on worn out Toyo RA1's in the rain with my girlfriend(no speeding or going over 75mph)

I got 268 miles on 11.6 gallons of gas, or 23 miles per gallon! This test was with our stage 2 car with XEDE, 680cc injectors, bigger fuel pump and 3037 turbo. I think the combination of the bigger, slightly laggier turbo as well as my light right foot helped get the good mileage as the car is not always at 19 psi. Anyway just thought I would post the results. I still would like a taller 5th gear.
