New new GTX is similar to an HTA turbo so is like have a HTA4088... I wish FP made one, I'll talk with Robert and see what he has to say.

last i checked the smallest gtx was a 42r.

Here's some info on my build up https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...croll-40r.html

Dyno #'s aside, @ 21psi on straight pump gas ~560whp on Jeff Evans Dynapack, my car trapped over 130mph... 27psi on straight pump gas it made 640whp - that's never going to happen on a 3586.
yes it can. as long as the car is setup right it will do it with ease. on a DJ.

Garrett said they will have the 35-40R series out by the end of the year. I just need to check with them on the progress.

I am willing to bet my car if I put a T4 TS 1.06a/r 3586 on my car I would break 650! **** I make 675hp on a Black. I should be able to get 700-725whp out of a TS 3586 on 36-38psi however I don't think the poweband would look that great at 8500. It will prob look like my Black graph below and fall off quite a bit.

I even made 614hp on 25psi with the Black.

i agree, it *should* but i dont recall ever seeing it happen. its like the blacks big brother with external wastegates. everything points to it being superior but no results yet. the bad part is the 1.06 atp housing. its pretty crappy. i really hope the new borg warners coming out next month are what full race geoff says they are. i have a twinscroll t4 manifold and a lot of parts waiting on the right turbo.

I agree. You are going to run a borg warner turbo or use use their turbine housing?

TS 3586 it's not going to happen - prove me wrong and lets meet up With a TS 4088R you're tapping on the limits at 750whp...

Now if you're talking about striping the car of A/C, going to an electric water pump, etc - you're not talking about a street car anymore, IMO, and even at that, it'll still be really tough to put down a true 750whp with a TS 3586...

750whp at 32psi on a DJ with a single .82 A/r T3 3586 on E85 here. 623 at 26 on pump. Everyone seems to forget how critically important combination is. I could put a 42R and make less power if I have a bunch of mistmatched parts. Not likely but certainly possible.

Who says a 4088 really has a bigger compressor wheel than the 3586? Its only moderately larger by measure (1.5mm inducer, 2mm exducer) but the aero is rather antiquated. It was originally meant for 12L diesels keep in mind. I am not knocking it but its not too different than what the 3586 makes at given boost levels.

710whp on our dyno is 142-144mph traps for reference. 590 runs 133 relatively easy.

.82 A/r T3 translates to 1.06-1.10 T4 I believe. we have run 1.00 to 1.44 T4 TS, I'll check my data more on that to be sure.
