Better downpipe??

I bought a used ebay downpipe from a buddy of mine that had an 05 EVO which came with ACD as we all know. My problem is that it rubs on the 2nd underbody brace(subframe brace)...whatever it is officially called. It rattles around 2500 rpm and is starting to annoy the heck out of me! So I was wondering if this is normal with most downpipes or just maybe the fitment of this one in particular. I tried adjusting the rest of the exhaust but I can't get enough adjustment to keep it from rubbing. It had an ebay test pipe already bolted to it and I have the buschur slip fit cat back.

He should have given you spacers to use on those tie bars underneath.

If you dont have those spacers. Just buy some thick washers from a hardware store. Something around 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch thick and that fit with the factory bolts. If you could I would probably just replace the factory bolts as well with something a little longer. Just to make sure you have enough threads in after the washer.

Be sure to get it taken care of quickly. If it's rubbing it'll eventually wear out the softer material (most likley your downpipe) and either dent or put a hole in the material. The DP rattling has also been known to cause false knock which will affect performance.
