AMS downpipe and testpipe installed! =)
pretty much sums it up!
the piece is gorgeous! so few bends it's rediculous!
unfortunately it's snowing here in chicago tonite so i couldnt get on it too much, but i finally got a dry spot and let it rip..
what first seemed like just a nice improvement in spoolup and response now turned into a new beast all together!!what a difference!!! man there's so much torque and power everywhere in the powerband!
can't wait to get it wideband tuned.. although it feels damned nice right now!..
hope it'll be nice tomorrow.. maybe ill be able to get a couple runs in at GLD!

I have to have a cat... inspection here ownz me...

I asked this before on another thread but didn't get a reply. Will the AMS testpipe and catback fit any stock replacement downpipe? I already have a 3" downpipe (which even bolts on to the stock cat) and was wondering if the AMS testpipe and catback would bolt on without modification. One more thing, does the AMS have anything to prevent a CEL from the testpipe?

the testpipe and catback should fit most downpipes.. with some exceptions.. does this downpipe have a tapered down section?.. please e-mail me and let me know the details and we'll see what we can figure out.
CEL's come on in my car.. and AMS doesn't have an O2 emulator at this point.. personally i check the codes with my data logger to see what it is to make sure it's nothing unusual...

by itself, the 3" full stainless testpipe is $75 shipped right now..
it's on special for $25 together with the downpipe only...
downpipe alone is $325, btw

Where the hell are the damn pictures??? I've been waiting ages for the AMS DP and High Flow cat... Will these items come with all the hardware needed for install as their Cat back exhaust did? Also will their DP clear the tie bars?? Need those damn pics... And lastly what the hell do the two small items cost nearly as much as their cat back exhaust??
