Ya that's not too informative at all. Hmm I don't think the rem isf is a gimmick since these big name builders are using it but I just wish it was better explained as far as the benefits and process goes.

I just had my Tcase and Rear diff rebuilt by Jon at TRE. He told he doesn't feel the REM ISF is necessary. It simply creates a super smooth finish, which the gears will create themselves after proper break-in. He does offer it, but he definitely didn't try to sell it to me. He said he mostly uses it on the shift forks and shift shafts in the trans so that they slide on each other better...
