pullin the motor

I'm in the process of pulling my motor out.it looks like I have to drop the subframe so the TC will clear.is this true?any advice or ideas to make this easy as possible?

leave the t-case in the car, just separate it from the transmission and pull the motor and transmission out the top at the same time. Much easier than trying to drop the transmission out the bottom. No need to drop the subframe.

If you just unbolt the tail from the transfer case and pull it out you can then drop the engine out the bttom and avoid bodywork damage.........

just use a ratchet strap to hold the transfer case to the passenger side wheel. it makes it much easier to move and it will stay out of the way. Just my 2 cents.
