Recirculating BOV question....

This may be the wrong section for this question but I plan on going with a Tial BOV when I get my front mount. My question is will I need to go speed density without a recirculating bov? I feel kind of dumb for asking this question but I wasn't sure....

Need to? No. Should you? Yeah, probably.

Depending on how much boost you run, the Evo 9 bov is one of the best options as far as daily driving goes. I bought my car with a ssq non-recirculated on it and can't stand how jerky it is.

FYI - the Tial QR is recirculated. Haven't tried it personally, but have heard good things.

Good luck.

No you don't have to go SD if you're not recirculating, but speaking from experience with the Tial QR, we had some driveability and idle issues when we tried it VTA (maybe we didn't mess around with the internal spring pressure enough), recirc and it was all good.
Which Tial unit do you have?

Well I want the Tial 50mm that is atmospheric. I plan on doing cams and timing belt soon so I'd like to do the front mount soon after. I've always wanted a Tial b/c a lot of my friends and my younger brother have used it and love it. But I am open to others. Currently I have a Tomei that recirculates into the stock intake. I do have a Slowboy cone filter.

get the QR for now, then when you go SD you can buy the bottom half of the Q BOV and convert it
