all the 2.4L block owners!
im going to be sending my car out to get a fully build LR2.4 at English Racing and i was wondering how long these engines might last as a daily driver with high miles 50K+ ??
just wanted to know some of the mileage people have on there 2.4L, and have you had any trouble with the motor?

the 2.4 is gaining in popularity man ER would be the best ones to ask or SBR but no complaints I have heard and every motor minus aluminun rod motors are the same take care of it and it will last a long time. It almost like the 2.3 you dont see those failing at 50k do you unless ragged out with out working being done to it.

I have break in miles on mine (~500) and I love it. Between the 2.4 displacement and 9.7:1 compression, it's a blast to drive, even on low boost. My room mates stock engine Evo 9 feels sluggish in comparison with pedal response and off boost feel. I am VERY happy and glad I made the choice I did. Running an Evo 9 turbo on it right now, but should be ready for an FP upgrade soon.

is your 4g63 stroked to 2.4 or do you have the 2.4 block?
