usually it's $14 and free shipping. i mean, how often are people flushing coolant that it is such a waste of money to get a "boutique" brand?

Yeah it was never about the money I just wanted something that I thought was what the manual calls for.

So that stuff is red?

Do they have any of the concentrate; I dont buy the premixed stuff.

Gotcha. Well like you said its not like you swap coolant all the time. Maybe Ill pick something up would prob need 2 jugs of it. You ever get one of those spillfree funnels I told you about? If not do it already works great!

Yeah I just crank the heat and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Im tempted to try one of those things that you hookup to shop air that I believe pulls a vacuum on the system first then fills it with coolant no burping involved but have yet to bother with it as the funnel seems to fit the bill after all these years. Glad you finally listened to me, lol!

Quite often. Put in a radiator and drained the cooling system, did a clutch and ditto, swapped a transmission and ditto, decided to replace all the coolant hoses and ditto. Now, I have a new thermostat I want to put in.

Instead of reusing coolant I always replace with new. Walmart for me.

i am bumping this - Zerex Asian Vehicle seems to have had an update recently, to a "blue" formula that is more suited for hondas, subarus, mitsubishis, etc.

https://www.valvoline.com/our-produc...freeze-coolant

i will probably switch to this next year.

I use the Amsoil brand antifreeze, it has worked well for me. The freeze protection is down to -34 degrees, doesn't really apply to me since I'm in San Diego

Here is some data for you
