I'm also eagerly awaiting results. A friend of mine is getting one for his 06 Subaru to test next month.

Keep in mind that according to Geoff, the integrated diverter valve will not be available for Evo applications unfortunately. Not that that should be a major strike against the other benefits of running one.

Nice find! It kind of makes me wonder why someone hadn't done this type of thing sooner.

FWIW, a bend that is 1:1 Bend Radius to Outer Diameter ratio doesn't flow very well at all. You want to be above 1.5:1 if at all possible, making a 4.5" bend radius the minimum desirable on a 3" tube.

ill run the biggest radius i can, im not expecting to get a 6" radius in there, but i guess there is only one way to find out.

From what I read the integrated diverter valve is on all compressor covers.
There is a plate that is used to seat the plunger if the diverter valve is not desired.

I think what you meant is that the Evo EFR series turbos can not use the internal wastegate turbine housings because the diffuser is extra long for the internal gate and a 3" O2 housing will run into the A/C Compressor.

This is where I read the above info. http://www.full-race.com/articles/bo...fr-turbos.html

Some of the styling reminds me of the 80's era Volvo and SAAB OE turbos . Some of them had a throttle closed recirc valve set into the compressor housing . I think Mitsy may be the ones I'm thinking of - possibly TD04HL's .

The IW turbine housings are different in that you can see all of the turbine outlet from the housings one , rather than a big V band hole and half of each .

7670 looks really nice, but I'd be worried that it would fall off too soon up top. My current setup, a 50 trim, starts falling off at about 7K. I don't think the 7670 would be able to hold on much longer - maybe another 500 RPM or so. Will be interesting to see how easily it spools, might be a case of having my cake and eating it too. It'll certainly outflow a 50trim, and if it outspools it as well....
